📝 Role Overview
As a Code 14 Driver, you’ll be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of loads across local and cross-border routes. You’ll need to follow traffic laws, secure loads properly, and maintain high standards of professionalism.
🔑 Key Competencies
- Safe and responsible driving habits
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and route regulations
- Clear communication and ability to follow instructions
- Teamwork and independence
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
📦 Responsibilities
- Operate and drive Code 14 tipper trucks
- Transport loads locally and cross-border
- Secure loads to prevent damage and hazards
- Conduct vehicle inspections (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
- Maintain delivery records, mileage, fuel, and costs
- Report vehicle issues or incidents
- Follow company policies and safety procedures
- Communicate with dispatchers, clients, and team members
- Keep vehicles clean and well-maintained
🎓 Minimum Requirements
- Valid Code 14 Driver’s License with PDP
- Minimum 5 years of driving experience
- No criminal record
- Experience operating tipper trucks and heavy vehicles
- Cross-border driving experience is a plus
