Personal Assistant Wanted At Louw Strydom Incorporated

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Litigation Secretary / Personal Assistant to support our legal team. This dual role is ideal for a candidate who has strong attention to detail, and enjoys being a trusted support professional to attorney and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide comprehensive secretarial support to attorneys, including document preparation, filing, and managing correspondence
– Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, pleadings, and briefs to court standards
– Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate court deadlines
– Maintain and organise case files (physical and electronic)
– Liaise with clients, court staff, and other legal professionals
– Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
– Personal assistant duties including travel arrangements, expense reporting, and diary management for senior lawyers
Qualifications:
– Minimum 2 years’ experience as a legal secretary, ideally with a focus on litigation
– Strong knowledge of court procedures and legal terminology
– Excellent typing and document formatting skills
– Proficient in Microsoft Office and Legalsuite
– Exceptional organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
– Discretion, reliability, and a high level of professionalism
