You Go Girl! Sho Madjozi Scoops BET Award

What a time to be alive indeed, our very own female rapper Sho Madjozi and once again made us South Africans super proud.

Sho Madjozi has won herself a BET Award for Best New International Act at this year’s 2019 #BETAwards. This makes the 27-year-old the first female South African to win a BET Award. How cool is this?

The Huku hitmaker attended the awards ceremony at Microsoft Theater on June 23, 2019 in Los Angeles, California. With total excitement, Sho Madjozi took to social media to announce the awesome news and also thanked her fans for their support.

The rapper, singer and songwriting superstar , who recently won Newcomer of the Year and Female Artist of the Year at the South African Music Awards (SAMAs) was nominated alongside artists such as: Teniola Apata (Nigeria), Headie One and Octavian from the UK, Jokair and Nesly (France) and our very own AKA.

Congratulations are very much in order!
